
The drama of Job. How could a good God allow unjust suffering?
I think the Book of Job is one of the most important books in the Bible responding, to one of the most challenging difficult questions that we have as human beings. And that is how can there be a good God with so much evil and suffering in the world.

The Bible was not written to us. But it was written for us. The book of Isaiah.
My encouragement to you, whenever you're reading the Bible, is try as best as you can using the tools that you can to get into the minds of the original authors. And then once you understand what they were experiencing then you can make that leap to your own life.

Deuteronomy 13-27. How can we apply the Old testament to our modern experience?
Why does Moses keep repeating all these laws? We'll continue to read through the Bible in a year. I have a larger section from Deuteronomy looking at Deuteronomy 13 all the way through 27. And in this middle section of Deuteronomy we hear the repetition of these laws that that we've heard in Exodus and Leviticus and Numbers and now we hear them again. Why is there so much repetition?
